UPDATE: SITE IS NOW LIVE. It is a Flash site that replaced the old HTML website at http://www.akbushcompany.com. The site is programmed entirely in Flash and includes features like third-party calendar and gallery, both customized by myself with "back-end" systems to allow the site owners to add pictures and events to the galleries and calendar, as well as a lot of animation and interactivity. When a navigation link is clicked, the curtains close, and then reopen with the new content in place.
The souvenir shop is basically a Flash front end tied to their existing shopping cart solution, which looks good and functions the way the client wants it to.
Justin Daily is a graduate of the "Trial By Fire" school of design, having jumped into a department-head job with little more than video tutorial training in Adobe Dreamweaver that he bought on eBay for $20. He lives in Anchorage, Alaska with his wife, his daughter, and his guitars.
